the sudden change of sound field reach frequency that similar to resonate of gyro mems itself, normally 20 - 30 Khz maybe.

Hi,
Thanks for your inquiry.
Which Bosch Sensortec gyro are you using? Covering a piece of paper or other material to the gyro could isolate the sound effect.
Thanks.

Hi, Moderator
Thanks for your reply.
I have test BMI160, BMI088 gyro performance with trumpet, the sound field change from some kind of trumpet high-power will have significant interference on gyro data output(no metter what kind of lpf was set). For instance, just power on the trumpet close to BMI160, BMI088 shuttle board, will see the data big spike as below, unit(dps):
package the sensor with ceramic/metal package will be good.

Hi,
MEMS gyroscopes are known to be susceptible to the effects of acoustic noise, in particular high frequency and high power acoustic noise. When BMI160 and BMI088 are stationary the gyro typical zero-rate level should be within +/-3dps and +/-1dps respectively. According to your data plots, the gyro offsets change a little by the sound but are still within the specs. So you can apply your own low pass filter to filter it out.
Thanks.
