Hello Sir, I m facing the same exact issue with my Lenovo D330 . after installing fresh windows and installing all the drivers, Bosch sensor seems to be broken and not working..with the same error descrivbed above .. I am trying to reference my altitude measurement to nearest weather station's air pressure report. however, I believe I still need to calibrate BMP barometer first to an absolute reference. any one has experience on how often this calibration needs to be done? can I do a factory calibration and use the result for the life of the product which might be 5-10 years? I intend to use BMP581 in my design. much thanks Leo

Hello @kgoveas I am also want to de a similar thing, but i could not get a accuracy of 3 even 1 was not possible. Do you still have the code you worked with because the link is not available anymore. kind regards Roeland

Hi, jumping in two years later, I just want to add that I think, C++ creating two BSEC library instances, as described in the previous post, might possibly not be the case. While the Github example indeed creates two instances of the C++ type Bsec, there is still only one instance of the BSEC C library. What actually happens in the Github example bsec.cpp, is the usual state switching (calling bsec_init, _update_subscriptions and _set_state), which was added in November 2019:

Hello Kgoveas, You are right gas measurement value is so low as I compared with reading taken by same sensor interfaced with arduino board. Output: Temperature in Celsius: 30.04 Humidity in %: 31.27 Pressure in hPa: 944.86 Altitude in Meters: 583.53 Gas Resistance in Ohms: 16603.89 I was not seen properly thatswhy I have mentioned wrong statement. But yes value of Gas resistance getting with API as below may be wrong.
