Hi, Thanks for your inquiry. You can detect the position of your box and then change BNO055 axis remap settings. After you apply motion with a little rotation in 3D space, BNO055 will calibrate the magnetometer automatically due to the NDOF FMC (fast magnetometer calibration) mode. Gyro calibration will be done automatically whenever your box is stationary. Please refer to BNO055 quick start guide app note online at https://www.bosch-sensortec.com/media/boschsensortec/downloads/application_notes_1/bst-bno055-an007.pdf for more information. Please make sure you have set the right I2C slave address, added two 10K Ohms pull-up resistors on I2C bus and set STM32 MCU I2C clock frequency to 100KHz, etc. Please use a USB logic analyzer to capture the I2C transactions for debugging. Hi, Thanks for your inquiry. If you set BMX160 both accel and gyro ODR to 100Hz, then the 3dB cutoff frequency for accel and gyro will be 40.5Hz and 39.9Hz respectively according to BMX160 datasheet Table 13 and Table 15. If your physical motion signal maximum frequency is 50Hz for example coming from the vibration, then 100Hz ODR for BMX160 accel and gyro will not be fast enough to measure and duplicate the motion signal.
