Hi I plan to use BMI160 shuttle board as IMU with I2C interface protocol. I have checked my code and seems everything is OK with that. I think something might be wrong with my hardware. Below figure describes my pin connections. 1- Is this connection correct for I2C protocol of BMI160 with address of 0x68 and in normal mode? Thanks Saber

Thanks for your previous reply. On 2 and 3, you mentioned that for read/write operations, the registers need to be ORed/ANDed with 0x7F/0x40 respectively. Does it apply to I2C as well? Thanks Saber

Thanks for your previous answers. I have one more question with regard the pin connections. In the datasheet, page 100, it is mentioned that that GND should be connected to the VDDIO with 100 nF capacitor. As I am using the shuttle board, do I need to connect these two pins externally or they are already connected in the board? Thanks Saber

And also, one more question: - What is the difference between VDD and VDDIO? Both goes to 3.3V pin of the MCU? Thanks Saber

Thanks for your reply. For pin connections, I see in the datasheet, a pin SA0 for I2C protocol, it is connected to GND. Is it correct? When I connected this pin to the GND, the MCU crashed! Thanks Saber
