Hi Sir:     Orientation detection in BMA400 is a special feature, it is not supported in BMA456.     But in BMA253/BMI160/BMI260/BMI055 there is orientation recognization, recommend you to check it to know whether to meet your demand.   ... View more

Hi Sir:      Regarding free Fall detection, it cannot be supported in BMA456,but you can choose other BST sensors to achieve this feature.      Like BMA253/BMI160/BMI260/BMI055 etc, they are capable of Low G feature, which is equal to free Fall detection after configrature correctly like BMA400.        ...
