Hi BSTRobin, the sensor is placed together with a µC and connectors (for power and communication) on a small PCBA. The aim is to put the PCBA into a housing / box. Now we are looking for the best way to design openings into the box, that the deviation between air in the box (around the sensor) and the ambient air is minimal. The environment is versatile and can't be specified too much. The box could be placed near a open window (much air flow) or could be placed in a room without much air flow (static air). What about the named documents in my first post. Do you know where I can find them? Thanks and best regards.

Hi, i am doing research how i'ts the best way to place the BME680 sensor in a housing. In the "Handling, Soldering and Mounting Instructions (Rev. 1.6 / BST-BME680-HS000-06) on page 10 there are a few placing hints. But there are also noted two other documents which would be helpful: 1. BME680 integration guideline (BST-BME680-HS001-01) 2. Application Handbook (BST-BME680-AN016-02) I looked on the Bosch Sensortec Homepage and also in google, but I can't find anything. So I would like to know if you can give me a link for this two documents. If you have any other design/integration guidelines for placing the sensor in a box please post it too. Thank you in advance!

Hello! I have two questions about the marking of the BME680 (datasheet page 49): Specifically about the product number "T". Is it possible to order just BME680 sensors with the product number "S" or just with the product number "E". Or ist it more likely that the product number varies from order to order (first reel with "S" and perhaps second reel with "E")? What is the difference between the part number 0 273 141 229 and 0 273 141 312? Thank you. Best regards!

Hi everyone! After fixing my "update-problem" i startet the measurement (Application Board 3.0 with the BME680 shuttle board) in the low power mode (BSEC mode). The IAQ is visible in the general / measurement settings panel like in the following picture: My measurement is running about 3 hours but the IAQ and the accuracy didn't change. Like in the "text" described I opened the BME68x manual. But I can't find the word "calibrate" in this manual. So my questions are: 1. Is this still the calibration process after starting the measurement? 2. Can you explain me how I calibrate the sensor (good environment / bad environment)? And how long does it take? 3. Is it possible to save the "calibration data" after the sensor is calibrated for the next use in the same environment or it is necessary to calibrate the sensor at every start? 4. How can I improve the accuracy? Thank you in advance!

Thank you! Now the firmware is updated in ca. 2 seconds. Does a specific manual for the BME680 combined with the application board 3.0 exist? Or is there just one manual for "both" application boards.
