Yes, you are correct, BMI263 and BMI270 is only difference on the interface part. and because of the newly added interface, BMI263 current consumption is bit higher than BMI270.

Currently, there is no PCN or termination accounced for both of those sensors.
But BMI2xy is new generaton of BMI160 sensor and improved performance compared to BMI160.
For new design, we recommend you to use BMI2xy series.
