BHI360 BSX Fusion temperature compensation for acceleration

Hello,

We are currently evaluating the BHI360 and its BSX sensor fusion virtual sensors for a tilt application. We would like to better understand how temperature effects are handled in the BSX fusion outputs.

Specifically, we have the following questions:

  1. Temperature compensation in BSX outputs
Do the following BSX sensor fusion virtual sensors include internal temperature compensation for the accelerometer?

    1. Acceleration corrected

    2. Linear acceleration

    3. Gravity

    4. Orientation

  2. Recommended temperature correction strategy
If temperature compensation is not included in these outputs, what is the recommended approach to correct accelerometer measurements for temperature drift when using the BHI360?

  3. Accessing sensor temperature
Is there a way to obtain the internal sensor temperature from the BHI360 (e.g., via a register, virtual sensor, or another interface)?

Any guidance or references to relevant documentation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
