We are interested in the BME 690 sensor for its VOC sensing capabilities and have a few pre-purchase questions:
Can the BME 690 detect the presence of vegetable oil vapors in the air? Would it be able to reliably quantify the presence of these vapors in an enclosed setting relative to a reference ambient setting?
What is the working principle behind the gas/VOC detection in the device? Thermal conductivity, IR sensing, or some optical sensing?
Thanks!
