bme680 or bme688 sensors query

I am conducting an experiment to monitor the air quality inside washrooms by detecting gases such as NH3, SO2, CO, and VOCs, which are commonly found in these environments. I came across two sensors, the BME680 and BME688, and I would like to know which one would be more suitable for my use case. If not suitable then, could you recommend other sensors that are better suited for monitoring the washroom's air quality
