Hi,
according to the datasheet of the BME688 (page 2), the gas sensor is capable of detecting volatile organic compounds (VOCs), volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs), as well as gases such as carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the parts-per-billion (ppb) range.
For a new project, we need to measure hydrogen concentrations up to 4 vol% (40,000 ppm), with a focus exclusively on hydrogen detection.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to find detailed information regarding the sensor’s capability for hydrogen measurement, particularly concerning its usable measurement range and selectivity.
Could you please clarify:
Whether the BME688 is suitable for measuring hydrogen at concentrations up to 4 vol%?
If so, what measurement range and accuracy can be expected for hydrogen?
Thank you in advance for your support.
