Hello,
due to the BME690 being backwards compatible, I figured it could use the bme68x_bsec2_i2c sensor platform for ESPHome (https://esphome.io/components/sensor/bme68x_bsec2/). Eventually I got it set up with the ESP32-C6 and got sensor data. However, the temperature reading is approximately 4-5 °C to high, without it being in an enclosure. Also does the gas resistance seems to be static at 13 007 336 Ω over several hours. Are here people successfully using ESPHome with the BME690? If yes, what configuration are you using?
