I use the BMI160 on one of my products, but received a notification from my manufacturer that is is not avaialbel any more..
I am looking for an alternative/replacement part that can detect the following.
1. Any Motion detect, Used to wake cpu from sleep and activate GPS
2. Tap or double tap detect, Used to wake cpu from sleep and activate GPS
3. Angular/orientation change detect. Used to detect if equipment is being removed from it's horisontal position in a 19 inch rack case.
4. Step count detection. Will come in handy when equipment was removed.

SPI interfase
3.3 volt supply
Also the footprint of the BMI160 was ideal, so the smaller the better.
