BMI323 Fast‑Startup Mode (Gyro Drive Enabled Current + Valid Sample Timing)

I am evaluating the BMI323 and specifically looking into the fast startup feature described in the datasheet.

I have a few questions regarding the gyroscope’s fast‑startup behavior:

The datasheet mentions a 2.5 ms fast‑startup time.

Does this refer to the moment when the first gyro sample is output, or when the gyro output is fully valid (after internal settling of bias/noise/filters)?

The register description lists gyr_mode = 0b001 (“drive enabled”), which seems to be the mode required to achieve the fast startup.

Is there any information available on the current consumption of this drive‑enabled mode?

Are there any application notes or recommended usage guidelines for using fast startup together with the automatic mode switching features?

Any clarification or additional documentation would be greatly appreciated
