I am currently working with the Bosch BMP581 sensor integrated with the NXP i.MX 8M Plus processor using I2C communication. While attempting to read pressure and temperature data, I am encountering an NVM Error as indicated by the sensor's status register.
Despite following the recommended initialization procedure, including soft resets and power-up checks, the NVM status indicates an error (NVM_ERR). Here are the key details:
Sensor: Bosch BMP581
Processor: NXP i.MX 8M Plus
Communication Interface: I2C
I2C Address: 0x47
Issue: NVM Error during initialization, unable to retrieve valid pressure and temperature readings.
Could you please assist in understanding the potential causes of the NVM Error and recommend any additional steps for troubleshooting or sensor re-initialization?
