Unable to use the AI features of the BME688 in my Arduino IDE

I have been spinning my wheels trying to read AQI data from my BME688. Life was so simple with my BME680, but "gas resistance" means nothing to me. What I am finding is that there are no example sketches available for the BME688 in the Arduino IDE that will properly compile for me, much less, give me an air quality output. I am using a Seeeduino ESP32C3 and a BME688.

The caveat here is that I am not much of a coder and I do not seem to be getting any better, just more frustrated. I can work wonders with a functional example but suggestions that involve me having more than a rudimentary grasp of coding will not be very helpful. Surely, someone out there has a functioning sketch linking an ESP32C3 to a BME688 in an Arduino IDE that outputs the VOC readings as an AQI. I have yet to find this on the Internet but I sure could use some help. I started with a working sketch for a BME680 and fed it to ChatGPT which went through about 50 iterations before I realized it wasn't much help at all. I thank anyone who may share their experiences with me. Ideally, there is a Bosch page that has the downloadable code I am seeking but I have yet to find that either.
