Hi,
We are developing a BME680 board with cover case. In order to prevent the BME680 to be harmed, we want to cover the sensor board with a metallic grid. The case we have designed can be seen from the attachments.
The problem is that we want to mount the grid using an adhesive. But it is said that in "Handling, soldering & mounting instructions" document that the some adhesives can affect the behaviour of the device.
Could you suggest me an adhesive material which does not affect the sensor readings too much?
Thanks in advance.

I would suggest you consider one of the Gore membranes (or other brand). We used them on an automotive electronic assembly. They let gas and vapor through but stop dust and liquid. I'm only guessing here but from handling the Gore parts I think they use an acrylic adhesive.
Not from knowledge but just intuition, you migh want to reduce the volume of the chamber the sensor is in.

Hi,
We typically recommend designers to use Acrylic or Epoxy based glues.
