Hi,
I am working on designing a PCB that runs off a coin cell battery and transmits acceleration data from the BMA400 using Bluetooth. Unfortunately every time I send a Bluetooth transmission, the high current draw makes the coin cell battery voltage dip for a few seconds. I wanted to know if the data coming from the BMA400 will be affected because of the dip in the voltage of VDD and VDDIO (even though they remain within the operating voltage of the accelerometer at all times).
Previously I was using the ADXL362 by Analog Technologies and this dip in voltage made the acceleration data very noisy.

Hello vkbiosense,
What is the range of voltage supply change?

Hello,
The power ripple will influence sensor's perfomance. If you know how to calculate accel noise, you could find this result. After calculate the noise, and your application could accept this noise. I don't think it's a problem.
While, the best way is make a clear power, maybe lower BLE transimite power or other ways.
Best regards.
