I uploaed BME68x example code on STM32 for your reference.
Enable macro define "#define USE_SPI_INTERFACE" in user_define.h

But with the bme68x.c file in the github i don't see how the functions like  bme68x_get_regs(BME68X_REG_CHIP_ID, &dev->chip_id, 1, dev) call the file common_porting file that you give me to transmit data via SPI.
