BME680 start-up current

Hi everybody,

I have a question about the start-up of the BME680. The datasheet shows that the start-up time is 2ms, but there is no information about the start-up current. Does anyone have information about that?

After a power-up sequence, the sensor automatically starts in sleep mode, typical current is 0.15 uA in sleep mode.
The startup time of 2ms is very fast. We did not test the current change during this period.
BME680 data sheet describes the current in different modes.

Thank you for your answer, I have an other question if you have the information. Do you have an idea of the power consumption during a SPI communication, I saw 1mA somewhere but it seems very high for this kind of operation...

Hi sguigue,

SPI communication is only conducted when the sensor data is read, and the SPI rate is high, and the process of reading data is fast. We do not test the instantaneous power consumption of SPI communication itself.
