I am planning to use the BME688 for an outdoor gas/VOC sensing application. We are interested in the AQ output and VOC output as well as selective gas sensing; however our application is extremely low power and our measurement data rate is 1800 seconds (we take measurements from environmental sensors once approximately every 30 minutes).
We planned to use the BME688 since it is capable of one-shot measurements using forced mode but in order to obtain any of the virtual sensor outputs (AQ,VOC, gas) we must use the BSEC libraries which require at least the 300s data rate for ULP mode.
Is the any calculation or algorithm that we could use to determine AQ & VOC with our custom data rate using forced mode?
Alternatively, if we must use the BSEC library, is it OK to perform a single scanning cycle, then power down the chip in between scans to save power?

Hi tyloagro,
Currently, the maximum data rate supported by BSEC is 300 seconds. We need to check internally whether it supports a lower rate to 1800 seconds for your application.
