Hi,
We got the Bosch Gas Sensor BME688 development kit for our gas detection experiments. Originally, we could plug it in and record data directly to an SD card, which was pretty straightforward. However, we decided to modify by implementing new code from the Arduino Library BME68x Sensor Library -> bme688_dev_kit. The idea was to get wireless data from the sensor to our computer for easier plotting.
Here's where the trouble began: the gas sensor started giving us some really odd gas resistance values, not similar to the ones that we got from the sensors with the default code.
Here are the key issues we need help with:
1. We want to figure out what code comes preloaded on the BME688 dev kit . This way, we can restore the sensor to its default state. We couldn’t get any value sprinted on the serial monitor when we connected the serial port to the pc when the default code was running.
2. Do we need to recalibrate the sensor when we change the code like we did?
Your insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi Shan_ali,
If you use new BME688 dev kit, you can refer to the document(https://www.bosch-sensortec.com/media/boschsensortec/downloads/product_flyer/bst-bme688-fl001.pdf) to setup the dev kit.
And see the gas estimate result or choose to record sensor data in BME AI-Studio Mobile App.
The dev kit software requires the use of 8 BME688 sensors. For your application, do you want to deploy 1 BME688 to your Arduino platform?
