Hi.
I am producing a 100 pcs of module using BME688.
But I forgot to connect the SDO pin to GND or Vddio during PCB design. Now the BME688 has an indeterminate address at each startup, maybe 0x76 or 0x77.
I would like to modify the PCB and then manually remove and solder this batch of BME688 to a new PCB. But an experienced electronic engineer friend of mine said that this may lead to too low yield.
Is there any additional remedy I can do? Since the BME688 cost is not low, any offer I think is worth a try.
Thanks in advance!

Hi YeezB,
Thank for your inquiry.
You can look for experienced hardware engineers to help you weld BME688, which will improve the welding success rate of BME688.
