Hello, we are using your IMU BMI323 in a current design. In order to make the energy-saving mode of the device as efficient as possible, the power supply of the sensors which includes the IMU should be switched off. We have included a power switch in the design for this purpose. However, we have now noticed that when we switch off the power switch, there is still approx. 2.7V on the VDD pins of the IMU. After several measurements it turned out that the SPI CS line with a high signal is sufficient to supply the IMU. In addition, the voltage from the SPI CS pin is forwarded to the VDD pins, which means that the other sensors connected to the same voltage rail as the IMU cannot be switched off. We would like to continue using the IMU but this unwanted behavior prevents us from implementing our energy saving strategy. Could you please comment on this behavior and explain how this faulty behavior of the IMU IC occurs.
