BMI055 Accelerometer

Hello,

for a project I need some informationen about the BMI055. I have already contacted Bosch and they told me to write here, because I didnt't get the right information from the datasheet. I need to know how exactly the accelerometer works, because there are different types of, like with capacity, piezoelectrically,... I am pretty sure that it works with capacity but i really need to know if it's right. I hope you can help me.

The sensor is capacitive. Here is an explanation video on the sensing principle:
