BMM350 Magnetometer on SDM660-based SC66E (Quectel) system

Hello everyone,

We are designing a handheld-device based on Quectel's SC66E SoM. SC66E SoM has Qualcomm SDM660 chipset. By default, SC66E is supporting BMM050 which has been Obsolete for a while. We decided using BMM150 in our project but i realized that it is also being Obsolete since Bosch-Sensortec recommends using BMM350. We would also prefer using BMM350 but Quectel's technical representative told us to get in touch with Bosch-Sensortec and ask for "BMM350 driver base on Qualcomm DDF architecture". Actually i am a hardware designer so my knowledge is limited on software side. I showed the BMM350 github sources (link) but the technician repeated his/her request. The technician also sent me an image for similar driver files (attached in this post).

As far as i know, "the sensor driver is located in ADSP instead of the kernel and the default sensors have already been compiled into the released firmware version thus we (users) cannot see or modify / add new sensors".

Can you please help me providing the needed BMM350 drivers/software/firmware and maybe briefly explain why the github sources are not sufficient for my situation?

Thanks for your inquiry.
We do not yet support the BMM350 DDF driver for the Qualcomm SDM660 platform after our internal check.

But if you design a project with BMM350 and request it, you can get in contact with one of our official distributors or sales representatives to allow us to review each project on a case-by-case basis.
