What do you mean with delay? Each measurement is indicated in the status register immediately when the measured date is available.
The status is available for each sensor independently.
The only one causing delays is you when you miss reading out the measurements once they become available. You can trigger one of the interrupt lines to notify your MCU or processor instead polling.
Sorry for the confusion. I'm referring to the inherent delay between real-world motion and sensed motion.
There is always some sensor delay when oversampling and filtering using any sensor. Below are some examples from datasheets for other sensors, which show the sensor delay when operating in different sampling and filter modes.
I can't seem to find this information for the BMX160 (or any other Bosch sensor), so I am wondering if it exists and how I can get it.
