BNO055 SYS_ERR 0x3A: 9 Fusion algorithm configuration error

Dear all,

I use BNO055 sensor in NDOF mode and sometimes I get the system error 0x3A with "9 Fusion algotithm configuration error". After restart, there is no more error.

Does anybody know, why this error comes?

thanks for your reply. Yes, the error in the other ticket is because of setting offsets. That is not the reason for my problem. Only the same error code, wihch i want to show you.

Before the first read time of reading "BNO055 SYS_ERROR 0x3A", I do the following thing once as init:

1. Set configuration mode  (OPERATION_MODE_CONFIG 0x00)

2. Set unit selection

3. Set power mode --> Normal

4. Set operation mode --> NDOF

After that, I will read the the information of chip circularly.

This error trigged only stochasticly. It is a pity, there is no certein time between "boot with no error" and "error comes".
