BNO055 marking question

Hello!

I have a question about the BNO055.
Can you answer me why on top side at second row only 2 digits, not 4 like in datasheet example.
Top mark:
701
A8
1HP

701
A9
1M9

And can be in 1 reel 2 diferences date codes? Where is lot number and date code, how we can identificate year of manufacturing?

Hi Sir:

        I Checked my shuttle board of BNO055 which is an official board and found the marking is similar with yours, there are also only 2 digits on top side at second row, not 4 like in datasheet example. So XXXX in the datasheet don't mean 4 digits, only is an example and represent the second row. If you want to identify year of manufacturing, you should pay attention to the Bar Code labeling of your reel, you can get the details you want to know.

Hi Sir:

    You only find reel number from reel package and the lot number is not shared. The intenal people of BST can know it by reel number to trace.

    If it is necessary for you to know lot number, you should contact the local FAE and offer reel number or your parts, it also can be get by chip marking to trace.
