Difference between BME680 and BME688

I am literally confused on two things.

1. Can we use the BSEC2.4.0 library for BME680 as well ?

2. What is the difference between BME688 and BME680 ? How do I identify which device is present on my custom board ?

Hi Deepak,

If your application only requires IAQ output from BSEC, then BME680 and BME688 can be used together with BSEC2.4.0.0;
BME688 supports more gas type estimate, and if your application requires gas estimate, it is recommended to use BME688.
