Hello,
We are developing a wearable device which contains the BNO055 part.
I am presently experimenting with it and noticed that the suspend mode current consumption of the device doesn't match with the datasheet. The device datasheet mentions 40uA as the maximum current consumption whereas practically measuring it I get it around 80uA. I don't suspect the driver as I am using the driver provided by BOSCH on this github page: https://github.com/BoschSensortec/BNO055_driver and I follow all the steps demonstrated in the bno055_support.c file.
Please help me out with this.

Hi,
I have also tried measuring with meter connected to the GND side and by disconnecting the INT pin from the external application MCU but still my power consumption remains unchanged.

I just noticed that your schematic selected the 0x28 address. The COM3 pin has an internal pull-up so make sure that the address is not undefined.

I am having the same issue with BNO055 device. Q current in suspend mode is 192uA. Removing the BNO from the FPCB the current consumption drops to 1.9uA. We are using COM0, COM1 for I2C with address 0x29. COM3 is terminated to the 3.3v supply. COM2 is grounded.
Any assistintance with finding resolution is much appreciated.
