How to config BMI270 to use base config file in Zephyr RTOS

Hi,

I am working on BMI270 sensor with the driver/sensor model in Zephyr 3.7.0.
There are two config files, base or maximum fifo while the maximum fifo is the default.
If I want to use base config, how can I do it?

The sensor driver file to check compatibility in bmi270.c is:

DT_INST_NODE_HAS_COMPAT(inst, bosch_bmi270_base) ?         \

&bmi270_feature_base : \

&bmi270_feature_max_fifo)

In my dts file, the BMI270 part is:

bmi270: bmi270@68 {
compatible = "bosch,bmi270";
reg = <0x68>;
status = "okay";
irq-gpios = <&gpio0 24 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>;
};

Now I manually changed bmi270.c file to have the base config.

But I guess there should be some smarter way to do it.

For people who might be interested with this topic.
My college helped me to solve this by using multiple compatible values.

bmi270: bmi270@68 {
compatible = "bosch,bmi270", "bosch,bmi270,base";
reg = <0x68>;
status = "okay";
irq-gpios = <&gpio0 24 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>;
};
