I am new to this technology. We need to track a small (mm-size) object moving 200 m/s over distaqnces of about 30 cm. We could embed a magnet. Can anyone help me with the design? Alternatively, is this possible with an on-board accelerometer? Peak acceleration couild be 1000gee.

Hello sbless,
For your application, the sensor only outputs the RAW data, and the function implement needs software algorithm, which is not implemented inside the sensor.

Thank you. I was hoping to establish contact someone who could help me do that via your board.

Hello sbless,
Is this an automotive application?
For your description "Peak acceleration couild be 1000gee.", do you mean accelerometer sensor should be worked with 100 g range?

Sorry, no. We are a research laboratory that is studying penetration of projectiles in soil. We have been using line-of-sight tracking with a sort of optical radar (photon doppler velocimeter). But now we want to consider penetrators that have curved trajectories. The diameter is 14mm.
