Hello, I'm new to the BHI360 and its related technologies. I've successfully read and parsed data from virtual sensors, and everything is working smoothly. I'm exploring options to manage power consumption more effectively. Could you advise on the best methods to utilize low power modes with the BHI360, or if it's feasible to achieve further power savings by using the SDK to create custom firmware? Currently, I'm only using the Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and head orientation virtual sensors, and not the Magnetometer.
I understand that:
- The BHI360 Accelerometer supports both low power and normal modes.
- The BHI360 Gyroscope offers normal, performance, and low power modes.
I'm using an Output Data Rate (ODR) of 128Hz.

Hi yishaiko,
Thanks for your inquiry.
As described in the BHI360 data sheet, you can use existing firmware to configure the power consumption mode of acceleration and gyroscope by control parameter 0x0E01, without creating custom firmware in the SDK.
