Burn-in obviously plays a large part in obtaining consistent results from the BME688, however, I cannot find official documentation that describes the actual requiremnets. Is the heater run at 320 C, or above? Is it run continuously or some reduced dutycycle (150milliseconds on 1 second off)? Is there a lifetime for the heater? Does burn-in reduce the usable lifetime?

Hi GordonDavid,
Thanks for your inquiry.
Usually, BME688 needs to run in conjunction with BSEC software, and the corresponding calibration completion time varies depending on the selected configuration. Different configuration files have completed the configuration of heating time and temperature for BME688.
You can download BSEC package from https://www.bosch-sensortec.com/software-tools/software/bme688-software and refer to the integration guide.
