bme688 bsec raw_gasremain unchanged

After BME688 BSEC iaq-accuracy changed to 3, I placed the sensor in a plastic bag filled with thick smoke, where raw_gas became 5684.846191 and iaq-accuracy became 2. After I took the sensor out of the bag, raw_gas remained 5684.846191. Is this the case that the sensor is faulty?

        After a period of time, the raw_gas it gradually increased but did not reach the initial value， the accuracy became 3, CO2 gradually decreased and BVOC remained at 1000. Power off the sensor, the next day it was powered on, and the resistance value was restored.Does the sensor need to be recalibrated due to changes in the environment?
