python examples in coines v 2.8.8

I'm trying to run the coinespy_test.py python example included in coines v 2.8.8, but I get an error on the includes:

cannot import name 'ErrorCodes' from 'coinespy'

I'm using coinespy version - 0.8.3

If I run the example shown in manual BST-COINES-SD001.pdf Version 1.3 it works fine (doesn't use ErrorCodes).

How can I run the enclosed examples?

Which Python version you installed? In Coines user mannual, it required Python v2.7 or Python v3.x.

I've tried with Python versions 3.7 and 3.11

We have also updated to the latest Coines 2.8.8 and there have been no issues as you mentioned.
You can uninstall the old Coines and Python that you previously installed, and then install the latest software to see it again.
