Hello everyone. I bought a BMP280 sensor. I have attached a half-meter wire (on the I2C bus). The sensor works well. But now I want to place this sensor inside a freezer. Can I place the BMP80 breakout board directly inside the freezer, or do I have to make some enclosure for it?
(If I have to make an enclosure for it) Any design guidelines to design it?

Hi zee-man,
You need to consider the waterproofing of the entire board. The opening hole of the BMP280 can be waterproof with a State-of-the-art membranes, ensure normal air circulation.

Thank you for your help.
I want a similar thing like this:
Is this enough to design a similar 3D enclosure and place the BMP280 PCB inside it? (Does it affect the sensor measurements?)
In the above post. They designed a 3D enclosure and placed the BME280 inside that box. No membrane or similar thing is used.

Hi zee-man,
We have not used this 3D enclosure like this, and if you use it, you need to know its waterproof and breathable properties.
Usually, our end users design their own structures and use waterproof membranes.
