Hi, the datasheet of BMM150 (rev. 1.4) states in chapter "8.2 Sensing axis orientation": "A remapping of the axes orientation is possible via API." Wonder which functions is available to do so? Could not find any function for. Was looking into File bmm150.c, Date 12 Sep 2017, Version 1.0.0 from Bosch Sensortec GmbH Appreciate any hint. regards Stefan

Hi, thanks for the really quick respone, appeciate this. Good to know that it theoretically works. We will avoid activating the 2nd interface for sure, but: What to the max could happen, wenn the 2nd I2C interface is used? Aren't the pins 2/3 using an open-collector driver as usual for "normal" I2C busses? Then this should not damage the chip due to a short-cut to GND I would state. regards spachner

Hi, we use a BMX160 on an existing pcb, means pins 2/3 are connected to GND. Due to unavailability of BMX160 we consider to replace them with a BMI160 since the magnetometer is not needed. But we would like to keep the pcb. BMI160's pins 2/3 are actually used as option as an auxillary I2C for an external BMM150. Will BMI160 still work with grounded pins 2/3? What happens when firmware turns on the auxillary I2C by accident? Any backdraws to be expected? Thanks for you help in advance! spachner
