I just wanted to seek clarification regarding the behavior of the BNO055 breakout board in high G-force conditions. In my current project, the BNO055 sensor is subjected to forces exceeding 16g for a brief, predictable duration. I have observed a consistent issue with two separate boards: post-exposure to this force, the sensor ceases to transmit data via I2C. Could please confirm if this is a designed safety feature of the BNO055? Additionally, I am considering placing the sensor in standby mode during this high G-force event. Would this approach enable the sensor to resume normal data output after the force subsides? Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
