Hi We are trying to use humidity sensor as one of the sensor on our project. As of now we try to use BME280 because we prefer to have the sensing element on top of the sensor, while the low power feature and temperature range of humidity sensor is integral to our application. I have several question regarding our implementation : What is the Ingress Protection rating of HTS221 HLGA package, especially the sensing element part? Is it possible to cover the sensing hole with protective cover (IP67 which allow water vapor)? Will such method alter measured value of the other sensor (temperature and pressure)? Where is the temperature sensing element? From which side of the package should the application sense ambient temperature? Is there specific guidance for increasing sensitivity on temperature measurement? Will the sensor be damaged if water/dust entered the sensor hole? Is measurment still possible during this event? And how to clean it from sensing element? We may want to expose only the sensing element to ambient, while other part of the sensor is being molded (LPM). Will such procedure damage the IC?
