Dear community, I ran into an issue with my set-up and would appreciate some advice in which direction I should proceed. My set-up is: Application Board 2.0 BMI085 Shuttle Board Development Desktop 2.0 I would like to read and log the gyroscope and accelerometer data from the BMI085 sensor with the Development Desktop 2.0 software (in the following just: software). The log file from the software separates the measured quantities with a comma. But the software uses also a comma as a decimal symbol. As a consequence, I wrote a parser to convert the file for further processing. The parser converts the decimal points into actual decimal points and separates the measured values clearly. The parser works fine so far. But in one of my last measurements I noticed that when the temperature value changes from an integer e.g.: 25 deg C to a floating point number e.g.: 24,875 deg C the Development Desktop 2.0 software adds another comma to the temperature reading (see reading example below) which crashes my parser. …Accel Z-axis - LSB; Temperature - °C; Temperature – Raw… …8094,0000, 25, 16,… …8094,0000, 25, 16,… …8094,0000, 24,875, 15,… …8094,0000, 24,875, 15,… My questions: Is there any option in the Development Desktop 2.0 software to change the symbol for the decimal point from a comma to an actual point i.e. from the reading above to the reading below? …Accel Z-axis - LSB; Temperature - °C; Temperature – Raw… …8094.0000, 25, 16,… …8094.0000, 24.875, 15,… Or alternatively: Is there any option in the Development Desktop 2.0 software to suppress the temperature reading, or is using COINES or the Python based sensor evaluation (https://community.bosch-sensortec.com/t5/Knowledge-base/Python-based-sensor-evaluation-script-using-APP2-0/ta-p/5726) my best option? I am looking forward hearing from you. Kind regards
