Dear colleagues, we are carrying an R&D project and our PCB manufacturer has fabricated five R&D test boards using BME680 sensors soldered onto PCB (without BSEC library) following recommended guidelines. But we always obtain very low values of humidity at 20-22%? All the 5 different R&D PCBs with the BME680 sensor and show low values (20-22%). We get the same values even if the PCBs are left on for hours. We have tested the BME680 output against an external humidity meter and we measure 58%. Therefore the values are too low?? However, on the BME680 we can read meaningful temperature, pressure and the VOC sensor is working. Our PCBs use a SMT32 microcontroller and we are using MBED software. The settings are summarised below: BME680 driver version: 3.5.9 no BSEC library used Forced mode Oversampling settings: humidity: 2X pressure: 4X temperature: 8X Filter size: 3 ambient temperature: 25 heater temperature value: 320 heater duration value: 150 i2c frequency 400 kHz 1. Can someone please advise what maybe the issue?? 2. Are there any tests we can run?? 3. Can you run the BME680 without the BSEC library and get meaningful sensor measurements for humidity, temperature and pressure?? Thanks for your support
