BHI260AP/BMM150 HW Verification

We get first hardware with the BHI260AP and BMM150 on the board this week.  I am trying to get everything together to get first hardware verification completed as soon as possible.

I can easily confirm the BHI260AP is working by simply reading the fuser2 product ID.   I want to confirm the BMM150 has been placed properly without having to load the firmware image into the BHI260AP RAM.

Will the BHI260AP act as a “pass through” if I try to manually read, for example, the BMM150 Chip ID register (0x40) before the firmware image is loaded into RAM?

The firmware must be loaded even if you read the chip ID of the BMM150 on host side.
