    BHI360 hub module with BMM350 and BME280

    hi,

I am working on bhi360 shuttle module with imx8mm,
we are able to test the accelerometer with bhi360 shuttle module.

we are currently using firmware file named as BHI360_BMM350C.fw.h from below link:

    BHY2-Sensor-API/firmware/bhi360 at master · boschsensortec/BHY2-Sensor-API · GitHub

now when we test magnetometer which is BMM350 we get the data which is connected on AUX I2C with shuttle board itself,
but, how to confirm data I am getting is from BMM350 or BMM150 connected on shuttle board?

Also same as BMM350 we want to interface BME280 on AUX I2C for that we require updated firmware file.
So where I can find firmware file which includes BHI360, BMM350 and BME280 sensors firmware array.

    Hi amol4394,

If you use firmware from BHI360_BMM350C.fw.h, you will get sensor data from BMM350. This depends on which sensor the firmware get data from.

Usually, the official BHI360 firmware will support BME688, and you can use BME688, which supports more sensor data output.

    Hi BSTRobin,

    Thank you for you reply,
For BMM350 my doubt is clear now that I am getting data from BMM350 only As i am using correct frimware file.

Also, thank you for the suggesting BME688 firmware. but as I mentioned we are using BME280 on AUX I2C so the same BME688 will support for BME280 or not?

if not then what will be the next step to add support for BME280, please help me with this.

Again I appriciate you efforts for the resolvig my query!

    Hi amol4394,

BME688 is highly integrated four-in-one environmental sensors combining barometric pressure, ambient temperature, relative humidity and gas measurement in one small package, has more sensor output thant BME280.
In BHI360 shuttle board 3.0 https://www.bosch-sensortec.com/media/boschsensortec/downloads/shuttle_board_flyer/application_board... schematic, BME688 was designed in it, not BME280. And BME688 was connected to BHI360 via M3 interface, not AUX interface. Ususally official fw will support official BHI360 shuttle hardware.
