Hello, one of our GPS devices has a BME280 digital pressure sensor. Our pharma customers are asking "what is the recommendation for re-calibration of the sensor"? Thank you, I appreciate any information regarding the initial calibration and recalibration.

Hi JClark010159,
You can refer to the following process for calibrating in the end-of-line:
Requirement
A highly accurate reference sensors (absolute accuracy below ±10 Pa)
A well-controlled production environment, no fast pressure changes, e.g. airflow, door open/close
Wait at least 24 hrs after soldering
Procedure
1.Device must be on the same plane as the reference
2.Sensor configuration: ultra high-resolution mode, 16 times measurements for average à Psensor
3.Average pressure reading from the reference à Preference
4.Record Psensor – Preference in device memory, e.g., /system, by which future sensor readings will be subtracted
5.An iteration of step 2~4 may optimize the calibration (optional)
Criterion is up to production environment, test duration, facility, etc. e.g., 10 Pa
Recalibration can also refer to similar methods.
