BME680 IAQ reading doesn't go below 50

Hello,

I am using a BME680 sensor connected to ESP32 DEVKIT V1 with BSEC library.

When I turn ON, the IAQ reading is 50, IAQ Accuracy indicator starts at 0. The calibration process completes without any issue and reads 3 after a period of time.

Now, my issue is, the minimum IAQ reading never reduces below 50. The range is from 50 to 500, for best air quality and worst respectively.

Is it normal for the reading to not go below 50?

Whether the reading is below 50 depends on your testing environment. For example, when there is someone in the living room exhaling CO2, the IAQ output is usually not lower than 50. When there is no one exhaling CO2 in the living room at night, the IAQ output may be lower than 50.
