please provide me with more information about static IAQ (s-IAQ) values read by BME680:
What value is better to be able to say that the air quality in room 1 is better than the air quality in room 2? Is it s-IAQ or IAQ? As far as I understand the calibration process described in the datasheet, if the air quality in room 1 is constatnly poor, the sensor will calibrate to that value and will indicate that the air quality is good (what in fact would be poor air compared to air in room 2). Is that also the case for s-IAQ?

IAQ is the relative change of Gas, the accuracy of IAQ in Lab test is +-15%+-15.
It requires calibration, which needs the sensor to work in bad air and good air, then the IAQ accuracy output is 3, then the IAQ output is stable.
the table in Page 9, is an recommendation for you to judge the air quality, however you can also use your own reference according to your application. the larger IAQ means worse air quality, the smaller air quality means better air quality.
According to the compare of Air quality of different rooms on different sensors, a possible solution maybe constantly calibrate sensors on the same good air, until the IAQ outputs are within -15%-15, then put the sensors to different rooms to check the IAQ output to compare.
