BMI270 - Camera Electronic Image Stablization with IMU Synchronization

We are interested in the BMI270 as an IMU to assist with electronic image stablization.

Are here any application notes or reference designs on how to hardware synchronize the IMU with the Camera Sensor? 

There is a pin for OIS, but we're looking to do an EIS based design and need to synchronize the camera sensor with IMU

Thank for your inquiry.
You can refer to the OIS diagram in BMI270 data sheet. The OIS controller obtains sensor data through SPI without the need for additional hardware interfaces. Typically, data synchronization between IMU and camera sensors is achieved by the OIS controller.
