BMP Series working Principle

Hello,
We are planning to develop products using the BMP3xx series and BMP5xx series barometric pressure sensors. I can't find any explanation of how it works on the website or in the datasheet. What is the measurement principle of BMP3xx series and BMP5xx series barometric pressure sensors? Is the measurement principle as below?

  BMP3xx series: Resistive
  BMP5xx series: Capacitive

Hi lucas,

BMP3xy is resistive pressure sensors.
BMP5xy is high-performance capacitive pressure sensors with lower current, lower noise, better TCO, etc.
We recommend using BMP585, BMP581 in the new design.
